Although first celebrated by Serta O’Keefe in 1966, Festivus didn’t gain common recognition until his boy, Daniel O’Keefe – a author around the TV sitcom Seinfeld at that time – used the celebration like a joke within the show is 1997.Festivus encourages the celebration from the festive season with no commercial overtones typically connected with Christmas. Celebrate through getting an ordinary aluminium pole instead of a conventional Christmas Tree, and labelling common and perfectly normal occasions as ‘Festivus miracles’.
